Biografi Vincent Zhao (Nie Feng's)

Vincent Zhao Wenzhuo (lahir April 10, 1972), juga dikenal sebagai cheuk Chiu Man-di Kanton , adalah Cina seniman bela diri dan televisi dan aktor Film. Ia terkenal karena perannya sebagai orang Cina pahlawan rakyat Wong Fei-hung di Once Upon Time in China serial televisi dan film ( Once Upon Time in Cina IV dan V ).

WUSHU: The Young Generation (2008) Movie Review

As a film which is actually about martial arts, it is hard to fault the pedigree of “Wushu – The Young Generation”. Aimed at introducing a new and highly talented bunch of experts, the film also stars the legendary Sammo Hung, and was produced by none other than Jackie Chan. It was directed by Antony Szeto, previously responsible for the fantasy animation “Dragonblade”, and who also provides the action choreography. Concentrating on the positive aspects of wushu and its role as a competition sport, the film was unsurprisingly officially endorsed by the Director General of the State General Administration of Sport, the top governing sports body in China. Thankfully, this doesn’t translate into the film being a too patriotic or flag waving affair, with plenty of action and an upbeat focus on the theme of friendship.

Introduction

This is an adaptation of Ma Wing Shing's novel/comic version made into 40 episodes. But please do not place too high of hopes on it. You will be disappointed with the people chosen for the characters. The supposedly strong/suave/handsome swordsmen and fascinating beauties in the comics turn out to be very small sized/ugly on screen with lousy hairdos. What a pity -- fortunately the computer effects on all the fights are impressive to lure viewers to watch on. This is the first time that I get to see so many villains in the serial so it's still entertaining to me after all.
